This winter, I had the pleasure of meeting a fabulous jewelry designer, Coco Blaisdell and I got my hands on her fabulous Cocotay jewelry. She's a true entrepreneur and I love, adore, (did I mention love) supporting women who create beauty and listen to their hearts. Cocotay offers different lines and many incorporate vintage pieces--like old chandelier--which is cool AND green. (And if that weren't enough, Cocotay is everywhere... Sarah Jessica Parker is wearing Cocotay in Sex and the City 2!! Martina McBride wore Cocotay to the VH1 Divas! Both Joy Behar and Elizabeth Hasselbeck have worn Cocotay on The View.)
(Please excuse the quality of the photos below. I just fired my lighting crew, my makeup artist and photographer, so *sigh* I took all these photos on my own.)
This is my first Cocotay necklace...
And now, I get to share her one of her fabulous baubles with one of you! One MusingsdeMommy reader will win a Cocotay Survivorship Necklace.

Ok, the piece that makes me feel sassiest and sexiest the most is my diamond studs (fake :) but while love lots of jewelry, including some Cocotay pieces I have, these are the ones that can go with me anywhere, anytime.
became a fan of Cocotay on FB and posted a comment for my friends to read your blog
I love jewelry... big and bold or delicate, it all depends on the mood. But the one piece that always makes me feel fantastic is my charm necklace with my sons first initial, birthstone and zodiac sign. It reminds me of how lucky I am to be his mom!!!!
Became a fan on FB and invited friends to join as well!! Can't wait to follow the blog!
OK, I won't be lame and say my wedding ring...
My favorite piece of jewelry a piece from my grandma. It's a silver circle hanging from a sliver chain. The circle is heavy and when it's warmed by my skin, I can catch faint traces of my grandma's cold cream and her Virginia Slims. Reminds me of her and I love wearing it close to my heart.
Thanks for the chance!
I love my tennis bracelet that my husband bought me as a wedding gift. It has tiny sapphires and diamonds - the sapphires are my birthstone (past) and the diamonds were my future (marriage). he really put a lot of thought into it!
and I follow Cocotay on FB!
Okay, girl. Here's my answer for #1: as cheesy as this is, wearing my wedding + engagement ring (designed by me and husband) makes me feel confident and lovely. I like going out and having it remind me of the life we've made together. I also love a little ring I have w/ the inscription "the journey is the reward." !! love ya, Liz (Swanson!)
And p.s. Am I slow or what? tried to become a fan of cocotay and couldn't find the damn "become a fan" button. what's my problem??
My favorite piece of jewelry that I wear every day is a white gold art deco style bangle my husband bought for me on our 4th wedding anniversary to cheer me up. My best friend died a week before our anniversary. The bangle makes me think of her and my husband, two of my favorite people.
Ok, just "liked" Cocotay on Facebook.
On jewelry... I have two pieces that get the most compliments. A great chunk of turquoise ring that is big and eye catching and feels beautiful. I also have a gorgeous necklace my sister gave me made out of white quartz that is always eye catching.
But, the piece that makes me feel the happiest and most confident is the one that no one else seems to notice. It's a small bird (a raven actually) made out of celtic knots. I love it because it represents me and speaks to me of my own soul. Wearing it reminds me of who I am and that makes me immensely happy.
Yours,
Megan
I feel sassiest with big, long earrings that attract attention and my wedding band! scg00387 at yahoo dot com
Sterling Silver Ring! I replaced my wedding band/engagement ring with this piece I picked up chaperoning an 8th grade trip to DC years ago. I wear it in lieu of the others because a) I kept catching my rings on my babies during diaper duty and b) this piece is bold, bright, and screams strong and striking! It's my favorite piece now, and I will probably keep my wedding/engagement rings in a box until the girls show any interest! I am now a fan of Cocotay Necklaces! And I will repeat my applause of your blogspot again as I do frequently. It makes me smile.
My favorite piece of jewelry that ALWAYS makes me feel pretty and sexy are my long drop earrings with smoky quartz shaped like rain drops! LOVE! LOVE!
Now following Cocotay on FB...
OK, for jewelry I have two. One is a giant blue topaz ring from my grandma. She loved HUGE jewelry and would wear a ring on every finger. The other is a necklace I have with a cross from my mom, a mountain charm from my sister and a tiny cowboy boot from a dear friend. I just need to add a charm for my husband and kids and it would have all my favorite things!
I just became a fan of Cocotay on FB. Already love them thanks to Kate!
My favorite piece of jewelry is my wedding band. Always makes me smile when I look at it. (Mel)
